On-Premise Server Setup

A complete on-premise Ubuntu Server provisioning engagement covering storage, network security, and application deployment for production readiness.

The client needed a dedicated on-premise server for production applications, but had nothing in place yet, no hardware configuration, no storage redundancy, no security posture, meaning the entire environment had to be built from the ground up rather than adjusted from an existing setup. Running production workloads on a server without fault tolerance or proper security hardening would have left the client exposed to both data loss from a single drive failure and unnecessary risk from an unhardened network surface. The client needed the environment built correctly from day one, since retrofitting security and redundancy onto a live production server is far riskier than building it in from the start.

Sitetisfy provisioned and configured an Ubuntu Server environment starting from hardware initialization, through RAID storage mirroring for fault tolerance, firewall configuration to control network traffic, and security hardening with strict package updates and strong authentication enforcement. Application services were then installed and configured on top of that hardened base, rather than layering production workloads onto a bare, unsecured install. The result was a stable, production-ready infrastructure built with resilience and security as foundational requirements rather than something addressed later.
